ANGELO D'ANZI
CEO & CHAIRMAN
Angelo is an Italian entrepreneur co-founder of Arco Technologies Inc, a Fuel cell company located in US and in Italy.
Past founder of Arcotronics Fuel Cells (Arcotronics Nissei Group now Kemet Group NYSE: KEM).
With more than 23 years’ experience in the fuel cell and electrolyzer development, Angelo holds 18 WIPO patents in Vanadium Flow Batteries and Fuel Cells.
He received the 2003 Sapio Award in the Energy and Transportation category with a paper titled “Technological Transfer between Research Institutions and Companies in the Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cell Technology".
Angelo has also founder and director of Storen technologies Inc, a Vanadium flow battery company since the inception in January 2017 in New York State and is primarily responsible for the technology transfer.
Angelo has a mechanical engineering background and holds an MBA degree from the LUISS Business School in Rome
PETER KOLEY
Board Member
A Swiss/American dual national, graduated from the University of Washington (Seattle - WA - USA) with a BA in International Commerce and Marketing. He completed his academic career with with post graduate studies at the SDA Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) in collaboration with New York University.
He has extensive experience in Corporate, Industrial, Event-Project Management & Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions (M & A) including development and awareness activities.
Since 2017 he is living in Rome, Italy with his family residing on several corporate and NGO boards as well as providing active support to a select group of Rome based organizations and initiatives.
JOHN T. DAVIS
Board Member
John has over 28 years executive level experience in company management, sales and business development.
Over the course of the last 20 years, John has worked with a number of flow battery and fuel cell companies including, RedFlow LTD, Deeya Energy, VRB Power, ReliON Fuel Cells and. John was also instrumental in the standardization of hydrogen fuel cells used as stationary backup power at many telecom sites in the US and the Caribbean.
John has a strong engineering background with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clemson University.
DAVIDE BIGGI
CFO
Davide Biggi graduated with honors from the University of Pisa in Corporate Finance and Financial Markets; in with 15 years of work experience he has acquired specific skills in financial planning and management starting from the drafting of the annual budget to the reporting period for management.
His skills include treasury management, corporate tax planning and management and the auditing of medium-sized companies up to the drawing up of the Annual Report.
Biggi has specialized in the drafting of business plans for the raising of capital (equity and debt) with numerous successful operations - and also in the preparation of financial plans for Facilitated Finance for the collection of European public funds.
He has covered the role of responsible administrative and accounting for a medium-sized multinational group in the naval field located in Europe and USA - and the role of independent financial analyst designated to raising of capital of small and medium-sized companies. He has held the role of CFO in two medium-sized companies in the field of shipping and energy.
PIETRO MANDURINO
Senior R&D Scientist
MD in Aeronautical engineering at University of Naples, long expertise in power electronics and electrical systems in different roles within ABB group and specifically R&D projects.
Pietro has a background spanning from aeronautical hybrid electrical systems, industrial and mobile and powertrains, till development of embedded software for very different applications.
Pietro is one of the founders in Arco as Senior R&D Scientist.
He has more than 20 international patents and almost 30 years of experience in: Engineering, Sales and business development, Project management and as Start-ups CEO.

EU Sales Director
Alessandro has a long experience in the Sales management, serving prestigious firm like Fiat Atomobile (now Stellantis), Toyota material handling as sales director.
Alessandro commitment is to create the sales structure including the after sales organization.
In the last years Alessandro is develop the sales structures of several companies like:
Miretti Flame proof equipment (Italy, Milano), Nacco (U.S.) (UK, London),
OM-Pimespo (Linde group Deutschland).

GIOVANNI CUFALO
Electrolyzer PM
Mr. Cufalo works in Arco to coordinate the development of electrolyzes and hydrogen refueling stations.
Giovanni has more than 10 years of experience in mechanical and process design and in product industrialization processes.
He has several experiences in the development of systems and equipments for Fuel Cells, Electrolysers for Hydrogen production and gas purification systems.
He knows how to prepare the technical handbook in accordance with the standards for CE certification, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and Directive PED-2014/68/EU and also in compliance with the ATEX-2014/34/EU Directive. He has also had experience in preparing technical dossiers in accordance with North American standards.
He has experience as Project Manager in the definition and implementation of the executive project and in the development of project plans with budgets, activity planning and resource allocation.
Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering specialising in Electrochemistry.
PATRIK D'ANZI
Project Manager
Patrick has been working in the field of fuel cell technology since 2021.
He specializes in the development and certification of fuel cell systems, ensuring compliance with European regulations for fuel cell vehicle certification.
With a background in mechanical engineering, he combines technical expertise with project management skills to oversee complex initiatives in the sector.
His experience includes defining and implementing executive projects, handling budgets, activity planning, and resource allocation to deliver high-quality solutions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
CLAUDIA CANNATA
Senior Accountant
Claudia Cannata obtained a diploma as a Business Expert Correspondent in Foreign Languages and has twenty years of experience in the accounting sector.
She developed her skills working in accounting firms, where she managed the bookkeeping for over 30 clients of various types, from small and medium-sized enterprises to associations.
She later gained experience in large companies, serving as head of the accounts payable cycle and coordinating a team of two people.
Over the years, she has expanded her knowledge in the accounting field, taking on increasing responsibilities in corporate financial management.
NICHOLAS LOI
R&D Chemist
Nicholas Loi works at Arco Technologies, where he coordinates the development of Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) for PEM Fuel Cells and AEM Electrolyzers.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Rome La Sapienza, graduating with 110/110 cum laude, specializing in electrochemistry and materials science.
Nicholas has experience in developing fuel cell and electrolyzer components, as well as electrochemical systems. In the research group Enam Lab, he worked on PEM Fuel Cells, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of composite membranes and performance evaluation through cell testing.
Currently, at Arco Technologies, he leads the development of MEAs, overseeing the formulation and optimization of catalytic inks, electrode manufacturing processes, and testing activities for performance evaluation to identify the best materials for MEA construction, with a focus on performance optimization and process scalability.
His expertise includes materials synthesis, electrode design, and industrial-scale production processes. Nicholas is passionate about advancing sustainable technologies and contributing to innovative solutions in renewable energy.
ANDREW BUCCIARELLI
Mechanical Engineer
Andrew has a background in Mechanical Engineering with over 6 years of experience in system design.
Primarily, he has specialized in 3D CAD design of mechanical systems, but his design work also expands to plant and site layouts.
He has prior experience as a system engineer in the Canadian nuclear industry developing systems through the design process, where he authored technical documents and acted as a Team Lead for a layout development project.
OLATUNJI JULIUS OJOAWO
Electrical Engineer
Olatunji Julius Ojoawo is the Lead Electrical Engineer at Arco Technologies Inc.
Italy, specializing in the design and development of electrical systems for Fuel Cell Systems. His work plays a crucial role in advancing zero CO₂ emission solutions for automotive and heavy-duty applications.
With a focus on innovation and sustainability, he collaborates across disciplines to seamlessly integrate electrical, thermal, mechanical, and software systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Olatunji holds an MSc in Electrical Energy Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy and has research experience in material science from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain under the ERASMUS+ program.
Additionally, he has earned certifications in project management and Open Africa Power from Enel Foundation and SEforALL.
With over seven years of experience spanning Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe, Olatunji has developed expertise in renewable energy solutions, instrumentation and control, power systems, and energy storage technologies.
His diverse background and technical proficiency make him a key contributor to pioneering sustainable energy innovations.
ILENIA GIARNIERI
R&D Chemist
Ilenia Giarnieri works at Arco Technologies as an R&D Chemist, contributing to the development of Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEA) for PEM Fuel Cells.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry – Low Carbon Technologies and Sustainable Chemistry – from University of Bologna, followed by a PhD in Industrial Chemistry, focused on hydrogen production and sustainable processes.
Her research activity has focused on advanced materials and processes for industrial sustainability and hydrogen-related technologies, with expertise in heterogenous catalysis, materials characterization and gas-phase reactions.
Currently, at Arco Technologies, she is involved in the development and optimization of MEA manufacturing processes, including catalytic ink formulation, spray coating deposition, scaling-up activities and electrochemical testing aimed at improving performance, durability, and industrial process scalability.
